[www.bluefacemonkey.com] Very soon, I will have the opportunity to do two very unique things. Firstly, I will be teaching and running the radio station (WCRP 640AM in the area directly around Lake Como PA) at Camp Ramah in the Poconos this summer. Secondly, I will be gaining first hand experience using Free/Open Source Software (F/OSS) in an educational environment.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Brothersjudd.com] BrothersJudd Blog: April 2005 Archives: 1 Samuel 8:11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint [them] for himself, for his chariots, and [to be] his horsemen; and [some] shall run before his chariots.
[Afterabortion.blogspot.com] After abortion: I just received an e-mail from a self-identified "practicing Catholic, pro-life, pro-family, pro-marriage" reader of one of my columns who lambasted people like the post-abortive man in the column and me as being "still the most utterly selfish, immature and cowardly people I have ever encountered," "anti-marriage and anti-family," adding that our annulments were a farce dispensed by liberal dioceses and that weve "ruined enough people's lives already" so we should not ever have relationships again and that all weve done by going on a Rachels Vineyard retreat is find ourselves "a cryfest and a sympathetic, liberal ear."
[Markbyron.typepad.com] Mark Byron: September 1, 2003 - September 7, 2003: Secondly, there was some interesting futbol yesterday. I (as a fellow MAC alum) celebrate with Kevin as his Bowling Green alma mater got past Purdue. Marshall wound up giving Tennessee all they wanted and Boston College beat Penn State.
[Jewschool.com] -=JeW*SCHooL=-: Secondly, I understand that Ehud Olmert's and Tzachi Hanegbi's names might be a bit difficult to spell, but they could have at least spelled Donna Karan's name correctly. Great spelling on Druze and Sufi as well.
[Think-israel.org] Think-Israel: " Thus, Americans are avidfollowers of British culture. But Americans--especially itsintellectuals--love Italy for it's sensuous, pagan-Catholic beauty, landscape, music, art. Recently, one American leftist told me that ifPresident Bush wins this next election she will "probably become anexpatriate in Italy." Another left-wing professor said that ifPresident Bush wins that "America will effectively become a policestate and I'll probably have to move to Europe." Some second- andthird-generation Israeli Jews have been moving back to theirgrandparents' European countries of origin, especially Germany andPoland. "The Promised Land," directed by Israelis Avy Hemy and YaelFriedman, and produced by Idan Regev, is an excellent film about thistroubling subject.
