Dual Processor? Dual-Core?

[pixies.ca » as loud as hell, a ringing bell] With the exciting/shocking/disturbing news that Apple Computer is moving away from IBM’s Power PC chips to Intel’s yet-to-be-decided chips, there have been a lot of words (read: speculation) about what things will look like in the future. Dual-Core are one of the terms flying around out there that I believe people use without really knowing what it means, but they all promise that it’s the best thing since Melba Toast.
