OSX: Huh? Whaaa?
[CreativeGuy - Graphic Design Software Tips, Tricks and Commentary] Personally, I don’t care what Apple uses to run the Mac, as long as it remains the most stable and easy to use consumer computer platform on the market. A little extra speed and a slight price-drop from using Intel chips can only make things better for Apple, which gives them more money to research new ideas for the OS (which is the most important part of the computer experience).
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Jdempsey.com] CreativeGuy - Graphic Design Software Tips, Tricks and Commentary: If you’re an Apple Macintosh user, you’ve no doubt heard about Apple being sued by Tiger Direct, a catalog reseller, over the name Apple chose to promote OSX 10.4, Tiger. This is a prime example of going overboard. I immediately think of Microsoft suing some poor carpenter who sells windows, not Windows, and puts it in his ad.
