[Neil's World - Not the world you expected] Well I don’t know much about tft’s so all I can say is that I’m happy with the 19” one which was bought for me as a leaving present a year ago. It’s a CTX and I’m told it’s guaranteed against a single pixel failing, the speakers are ok for listening to voicemail (just) but a cheap pair of speakers puts it to shame. Its fairly expensive though - the firm who gave it me now use a much cheaper make and I haven’t heard any complaints.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Housecoat] Be Coo' My Babies: I'm actually not a total nutcase. My ex-girlfriends'-sister's-boyfriend once told me that "you can find a place to live inside of each Mountain Goats record." You can find everything you need in there, and you don't really have to come out until the next record is out. Sadly, the manner in which I met him precluded having any kind of friendship with him once I detached myself from his girlfriend's sister. It's a shame, really.
[US Marijuana Party] Crossing Borders: The Stark Differences between the US and Canada: The organizers and speakers climbed a grassy knoll and once again some of us addressed the crowd and thanked them for coming out today. At 4:20 a cloud of smoke larger than the mist coming off the falls rose high over The Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls, Canada and everyone went their separate ways in a happy daze.
[Rivers of Blood] Last Thursday: On the way back from Chicago (I took the train), I was somewhat concerned about missing my stop because you know you can NEVER hear what the damned conductor is saying. It's like those speakers at fast food restaurants where all you hear iz what vaguely resembles a human voice. I was asking a guy if this was my stop - because I basically had mere seconds to get off of the train (they only wait like 45-60 seconds before the doors close and the train starts back up), and some lady behind me asked me to move. I scooched back over into my seat and she ran over my foot with her wheeled luggage thingie.

[Gisvold.co.uk] Tor's weblog - 3rd parties: To me the combination of the 2 tools will give me the ability to produce better blogs in the time I have available by using Radio as my main tool for writing new blog entries. This is due to Radio having a built in RSS aggregator, i.e. it can assemble stories from other blogs and websites in the background, and present me with a synopsis of these that I with one press of a button can bring into the editing part of Radio as a new blog entry.

[Blog.tmcnet.com] VoIP Blog - VoIP News, Gadgets: Although some homesourcers simply use a VPN to access a CRM database and use the good ole' PSTN. Of course even when they do use the PSTN, often times the call is routed from one VoIP gateway to another VoIP gateway and then to the agent's home to save on toll costs. And if they aren't using VoIP and are still using expensive conferencing ports where an agent has to dial-into the PBX, then they need to get on the ball and move to VoIP and save a ton of money. Call centers have more call volume than any other industry, so every cent saved per call counts!
[Dream.sims.berkeley.edu] Nancy's Blog: information and the quality of life Archives: I wonder how to remember this program - don't want to dig out notebook etc. Then I think of my cameraphone and take a picture of the notice, tho it's too far away -- but the image may remind me of the content. Of course, I still have to remember to look at the images, which is not habitual, the way checking my portable calendar is. Nor do the images put themselves in front of me the way my voicemail reminders do.
